“Jesus’ church needs well-mentored women. It always has. From the New Testament’s Priscilla, known as Paul’s ‘fellow worker in Christ Jesus,’ older women have taught and trained younger women. And those younger women, as they matured, have taught and trained other younger women, so that they in turn could teach and train even more younger women. The Lord designed this mentorship chain to make for strong churches, strong friendships, strong marriages, strong homes, strong careers, strong communities.
Women make up 50% of the church. Yes, men and women are equally made in the image of God, and they are, therefore, more alike than different. But still, younger women need the wisdom of older women: their experiences, their failures, their successes, their growth in godliness.
No wonder I am committed to mentorship with Linden Grove.”
